Meet Mark A. Crosby, the Senior Director, Investment Operations and Portfolio Management at TEDCO. In this role, Mark is responsible for managing investment processes and portfolio management for the Seed, Social Impact, and Venture Funds in collaboration with fund managers. Mark reports to the Chief Investment Officer and provides operational support for strategic projects, ensures investment transaction completeness in supporting systems, and maintains portfolio valuation developments.
Before joining TEDCO, Mark worked as the Managing Director of Financial Advisory Services for Start-Ups in Zurich, Switzerland, and the DMV area in the United States. Mark has held numerous leadership positions at well-known companies such as 20th Century Fox, where he served as the Director of Finance Consolidation Group at Fox Cable Networks, Director of Accounting at Discovery Channel: Commerce, Vice President of Finance & Ops of a video game software Start-Up, Corporate Controller SEGA GameWorks LLC, and Universal Studios New Media Group/Consumer Products: Licensing/Video Game Software Development. His exceptional contributions to these companies include working on several noble game titles such as Crash Bandicoot Series, Spyro the Dragon, Bruce Lee, The Hulk, and Zena Warrior Princess.
Mark's academic achievements include an MBA from the University of Maryland (Robert H. Smith) and a Bachelor of Science in Finance & Accounting from the University of Maryland Global Campus. Additionally, Mark holds certificates in Investment Banking, Mergers & Acquisition Modeling, and is currently pursuing a Venture Capital/Private Equity Program at Columbia University Business School.
