Moss Amer

Moss Amer is an Associate at the Maryland Venture Fund, where he serves as a board observer for several portfolio companies, including Aledade, Fugue, StayNTouch, and New Edge Labs. He also served as a board observer for Harpoon Medical prior to its acquisition by Edwards Lifesciences (NYSE: EW) in December 2017 for $100 million.

Prior to joining the Maryland Venture Fund, Moss was recruited as an early hire to TCP Venture Capital, where he helped assemble a 10-company portfolio with significant positive write-ups. Select investments include WellDoc, ZeroFOX, and RedOwl Analytics, which was acquired by Forcepoint—a Raytheon (NYSE: RTN) company—in August 2017. While at TCP Venture Capital, Moss helped more than triple total assets under management. 

Moss graduated from Brown University, where he studied entrepreneurship and technology management. He is a 2013 Venture for America fellow.
