Ben Antebi Professional

Ben Antebi is Associate Director of the Maryland Stem Cell Research Fund (MSCRF), where he oversees the research portfolio and supports efforts to advance stem cell and regenerative medicine innovation across Maryland. He works with scientists, industry partners, and other stakeholders to foster the development, translation, and commercialization of stem cell technologies aimed at improving patient care.

Ben joined MSCRF in April 2022 after a career spanning basic research, preclinical development, and clinical research in the cell therapy field. Prior to MSCRF, he served as Associate Director of Clinical Development at Cellphire, a biotechnology company developing stabilized cellular therapies, and before that led the stem cell program at the U.S. Army Institute of Surgical Research’s Expeditionary Critical Care Department, where he focused on developing regenerative approaches for trauma-related injuries. He has more than 15 years of experience advancing cellular therapies from discovery through clinical application.
