Cassy Haber

Cassy Haber is TEDCO's Director of Development & Marketing, who works closely with the Development & Marketing team to promote the organization's mission. In her role, Cassy assists in the development and implementation of comprehensive marketing and communications strategies that support TEDCO’s various programs and initiatives. Her work focuses on creating cohesive internal and external messaging, marketing collateral, and supporting brand awareness through outreach and sponsorship management.

With a background in project management and operations, Cassy helps to coordinate the logistics for TEDCO’s major events. She plays a key role in planning and executing TEDCO’s Entrepreneur Expo, working alongside team members and vendors to manage event operations. Additionally, she supports data-gathering and operational initiatives, utilizing CRM and data visualization tools to help illustrate the department’s overall impact.  

Before joining TEDCO, Cassy worked with tech startups at the UMBC Incubator, bwtech@UMBC, where she managed marketing efforts, events, and operations. Dedicated to continuous professional growth, Cassy was a member of the Greater Baltimore Committee's Next Up 2021 Cohort, a year-long leadership training, professional and personal development, and networking program. She is also an active member of the Maryland Economic Development Association's (MEDA) Young Leaders Committee. 

Cassy’s work has earned industry recognition, including the Maryland Economic Development Association’s Marketing award for TEDCO’s Entrepreneur Expo (2020), and the AMA Baltimore's MX Award for Best Print Advertisement Campaign of the Year (2022 and 2023), as well as the Best Event Marketing Campaign and Best Email Marketing Campaign of the Year (2024).

Cassy earned her BS in Business Administration with a Marketing concentration from Towson University and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).

Outside of work, Cassy enjoys travel, adventure, trying new things, and has even gone sky diving!
