Dr. Elizabeth Clayborne says she first came up with the idea for NasaClip — termed the Band-Aid of nosebleeds — when working in emergency medicine. What struck her was not only the number of hospital visits, over 500,000 annually across the United States, but also the sheer mismanagement of the condition by patients.
