The Maryland Technology Development Corporation (TEDCO) is a quasi-government entity established by the Maryland General Assembly to provide funding, resources and connections that early state technology and life sciences throughout Maryland, need to thrive. TEDCO is currently seeking a Administrative Coordinator w/ Board Management Experience, with oversight for the following:

Essential Job Functions

  • Communicate directly and on behalf of the CEO with Board members
  • Schedule and arrange Board meetings to include identifying the space, facility, meeting supplies, meals, refreshments and technology.
  • Compile, and distribute materials to the Board prior to meetings.
  • Attend Board Meetings, report activities, request input and discuss Board of Directors recommendations.
  • Develop and put into practices, policies consistent with the Board and TEDCO’s vision and mission.
  • Prepare the meeting minutes, and maintain all corporate documents related to the Board.
  • Maintain the annual budget for the Board of Directors
  • Coordinate new member orientation
  • Schedule annual Board of Directors Assessments
  • Maintain Board of Directors Roster to include tenure and contact information
  • Meet and greet visitors
  • Assist in the planning of holiday parties and events
  • Manage office administration to include office supplies and vendors
  • Distribute mail
  • Enter Accounts Payable
  • Perform other duties as assigned
