Maya Fisher

Maya Fisher serves as a Marketing and Communications Intern at TEDCO, where she supports the team’s efforts in content creation, press release development, and more. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in strategic communications from University of Maryland Global Campus and is expected to graduate in December. Maya earned her undergraduate degree from Howard University in 2020 and is excited to join the team, contribute to TEDCO’s communications efforts, and continue learning through hands-on experience.

Maya also brings five years of experience teaching at the elementary school level, where she strengthened her communication, teamwork, and collaboration skills. These experiences have shaped her ability to connect with others, adapt to new environments, and support shared goals as part of the TEDCO team.

Outside of work, Maya enjoys cooking, exploring new foods, and watching anime; her dream trip is to one day visit Japan.
