AI company working to create more efficient processes for clinical documentation

COLUMBIA, Md., (November 3, 2025) — TEDCO, Maryland’s economic engine for technology companies, announced a recent Concept Capital recipient, PostCare AI. As part of the Concept Capital program, eligible entities are allotted $25,000 to support founders during the beginning stages of entrepreneurial ventures.

“Doctors don’t need more data, they need help with actionable clinical insights to create audit-ready notes,” said Surjodeep Sarkar, CEO and co-founder of PostCare AI. “Our AI agent works to match each case with the right history - so providers get accurate, audit-ready clinical notes in minutes. The solution is designed to listen, learn and adapt to each specialist's style, pairing each visit with the right context while pulling meds, labs and prior notes from the electronic health record (EHR) systems without digging into charts. The platform will also help prevent undercoding, so doctors can bill with confidence. Thanks to TEDCO’s Concept Capital program, we’re accelerating our platform so specialists can spend more time with patients, not paperwork.”

PostCare AI, located in Ocean City, Md., is looking to reimagine clinical documentation for specialists. By offering potential integration with existing clinical workflow, the company is working to automate the whole clinical process.

“The Concept Capital program was created to support entrepreneurial spirits like those in PostCare AI as they are in the first stages of their business,” said Justin Ferguson, innovation manager, Venture Development. “We are looking forward to the company’s growth journey and hope they continue to grow.”

TEDCO’s Concept Capital program was created to provide critical early-stage funding for tech companies in need of assistance to further launch and grow their business, allowing Maryland to become a hub for entrepreneurial success. “Maryland is not just a hub for technology and innovation, we’re among the top 10 regions in the nation for employing AI professionals,” said TEDCO CEO, Troy LeMaile-Stovall. “This means entrepreneurs looking to grow their business or employ more AI technology throughout their processes are more likely to find the talent needed here.”
