Real-world applications for artificial intelligence use in regenerative medicine

COLUMBIA, Md., (October 3, 2025) — TEDCO, Maryland’s economic engine for technology companies, announces the panel “AI’s Role in the Next Era of Regenerative Medicine” to take place at the upcoming 2025 Entrepreneur Expo at the Hotel at The University of Maryland on October 21, 2025. Join a panel of seasoned academic and industry experts in a discussion about artificial intelligence (AI)s role in advancing regenerative medicine.
“AI is opening a new chapter in regenerative medicine—speeding up discovery, lowering costs, and expanding patient access,” said Maryland Stem Cell Research Fund (MSCRF) executive director, Ruchika Nijhara, Ph.D. “This panel brings together leading experts from academia and industry to discuss how AI is driving innovation in stem cell research, while also exploring the challenges that come with using it. As an independent program within TEDCO, MSCRF accelerates stem cell innovation in Maryland, providing grants and support to researchers and companies aimed at enhancing scientific understanding, developing new therapies, and ultimately improving patient outcomes.”
