Innovative entrepreneurs compete to secure an additional $25,000 in funding
COLUMBIA, Md., (September 23, 2025) — TEDCO, Maryland’s economic engine for technology companies, announces the panel “Concept Capital Pitch Competition,” taking place at the upcoming 2025 Entrepreneur Expo at The Hotel at the University of Maryland on October 21, 2025. Up to 10 Concept Capital recipients, each having previously received $25,000 in funding, will pitch their ventures to a panel of expert judges for the chance to win an additional $25,000.
“This competition is one of the most exciting parts of the Expo, it’s one of the many opportunities where you see the energy, creativity and ambition of Maryland entrepreneurs on full display,” said Graham Dodge, vice president, Venture Development, TEDCO. “These founders are not just building companies – they’re tackling meaningful challenges and creating solutions with the potential to transform industries.”
