Gonzalez recognized for her impact on Maryland’s innovation ecosystem
COLUMBIA, Md., (July 9, 2025) — TEDCO, Maryland’s economic engine for technology companies, announces the recognition of Geyssel Gonzalez, deputy chief financial officer, as a 2025 Leading Women Under 40. This recognition from The Daily Record identifies women who have made tremendous accomplishments in their careers.

As the deputy chief financial officer for TEDCO, Gonzalez helps oversee financial operations for the organization’s $200 million assets under management, ensuring transparency and accuracy in reporting while driving key initiatives that enhance efficiency and organizational growth. Her contributions have been invaluable, enabling TEDCO to contribute over $2.7 billion in statewide economic activity as of 2023, earning its place as one of the top ten venture capital investors in the Mid-Atlantic region, according to Pitchbook. A certified public accountant and recent executive Master’s in Business Administration graduate from Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management, Gonzalez has led the implementation of advanced financial reporting tools and process improvements that have strengthened TEDCO’s support for Maryland’s innovation ecosystem.
