TEDCO Board chair and chief development & marketing officer will be celebrated May 4, 2026
COLUMBIA, Md., (March 12, 2026) — TEDCO, Maryland’s economic engine for technology companies, announces the recognition of both Ellen Flowers-Fields, TEDCO Board of Directors chair, and Tammi Thomas, chief development & marketing officer, TEDCO, as one of The Daily Record’s 2026 Top 100 Women. The Top 100 Women awards began in 1996 to recognize the outstanding achievements women demonstrated through professional accomplishments, community leadership and mentoring. There have been over 1,500 women presented with this honor over the years.

As TEDCO’s Board chair, Ellen continually works to create new pathways and opportunities for entrepreneurs across the state; plus, through her work at the College of Southern Maryland, she opens new avenues for those looking to improve and learn,” said TEDCO CEO, Troy LeMaile-Stovall. “Tammi is a dedicated advocate for Maryland, continually finding new funding opportunities that will help grow and strengthen the state; and no matter how much this demands, she always makes sure to take time out of her day to mentor the next generation of leaders. This recognition is a testament to the hard work of both women and TEDCO is incredibly fortunate to have them with us.”
A panel of business and legal professionals, previous Maryland’s Top 100 Women honorees from throughout the state, and a representative of The Daily Record reviewed the final applications and selected this year’s honorees.
