TEDCO CEO Troy LeMaile-Stovall Recognized as 2026 Most Admired CEO

LeMaile-Stovall was recognized as part of The Daily Record’s 2026 Most Admired CEOs Awards

COLUMBIA, Md., (September 23, 2026) — TEDCO, Maryland’s economic engine for technology companies, announced the recognition of Troy LeMaile-Stovall, TEDCO CEO, as one of Maryland’s Most Admired CEOs. This recognition from The Daily Record marks the second time LeMaile-Stovall has received this honor, his first recognition was announced in 2022.

“Troy has a passion for creating a sustainable innovation ecosystem and give Maryland entrepreneurs an unfair advantage in the highly competitive national and international markets. This commitment has opened new doors for business leaders and startups, ensuring that no part of the state is left behind as we continue to expand,” said David Tohn, CEO of BTS Software Solutions and chair of the TEDCO Board of Directors. “One premium example is his current collaborative efforts with entities across borders and oceans. As the CEO of TEDCO—Maryland’s $200M+ AUM, with another $50M being managed under a strategic collaboration, 60M+ operating budget, 1.4 TVPI, economic engine for technology companies— LeMaile-Stovall leads the organization’s mission to support economic empowerment through the cultivation of a diverse and inclusive entrepreneurial innovation ecosystem. Under his leadership the entity has unveiled new programs, resources and a new study that showcases the power of TEDCO’s impact—supporting more than $9.9 billion in economic output across the state. In addition to his role at TEDCO, LeMaile-Stovall also serves as a strategic advisor for Hunter Lewis, LLC, an investment management advisory firm, led by Cambridge Associates' co-founder Hunter Lewis.

Most Admired CEOs honors talented business CEOs, higher education leaders and nonprofit executive directors throughout Maryland whose leadership and vision are admired by those around them. A panel of judges selects these honorees based on professional accomplishments, community service and letters of reference submitted by co-workers, board members and community leaders showing the CEO’s leadership and vision. Three-time winners are inducted into the Circle of Leadership, which honors sustained achievement over a period of at least six-years. Winners were selected by The Daily Record leadership team.
