Cykloburn Technologies LLC, a company developing a low-emission combustion system that converts biomass into energy, announced that it has been awarded a National Science Foundation (NSF) Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Phase I grant.
TEDCO’s Rural Business Innovation Initiative (RBI2) announced its latest pre-seed investment in HopFlyt, Inc.—a company that has developed an aerodynamically advanced electric vehicle. HopFlyt is the third rural-based company to receive a $25,000 investment from TEDCO’s program.
TEDCO’s pre-seed Builder Fund was created to financially and operationally support the development of start-up companies run by entrepreneurs with a socially or economically disadvantaged background that hinders access to traditional forms of capital and executive networks.
