TEDCO Invests $250,000 in AGED Diagnostics
A Maryland-based Biotechnology company developed early Liver diseases detection technology
COLUMBIA, Md., (October 8, 2026) — TEDCO, Maryland's economic engine for technology companies, has invested $250,000 in AGED Diagnostics through its Pre-Seed Builder Fund, as demand grows for early detection tools that can catch liver disease before it becomes life-threatening. The investment reflects the organization's ongoing commitment to funding Maryland-based technology companies led by founders from economically underserved backgrounds.
AGED Diagnostics, a Rockville, Md.-based biotechnology company, is developing an early detection and intervention solution for liver disease. Through genomic innovation, the company is working to advance a more accurate blood test designed to help patients remain in monitoring programs, reduce financial burdens and improve health outcomes.
“AGED Diagnostics is working to address a critical challenge by developing technology that supports both earlier health interventions and reduced financial strain for patients,” said Jean-Luc Park, deputy chief investment officer & senior director of TEDCO’s Social Impact Funds. “TEDCO is committed to supporting innovative investment grade technology companies working toward meaningful solutions, and through the Social Impact Funds, we are proud to provide portfolio companies with resources, guidance and support that extend beyond capital.”
