Chung Hei Sing is a multidisciplinary investment executive and board director with over 15 years of experience across investment management, strategy, and corporate governance in the healthcare, technology, and financial sectors. He currently serves as a Partner at Applied Derivative Research (ADR), a tech-enabled, impact-oriented investment firm focused on preserving and growing capital while delivering measurable societal outcomes. In this capacity, he brings a track record of combining strategic and financial discipline with strong governance, risk management, and ESG integration to create long-term stakeholder value.
Previously, Chung supported the growth of Palm Drive Capital, a growth-stage venture capital firm investing in healthcare and technology companies globally, where he led social impact and DEI initiatives. Earlier in his career, he held roles at Arquitos Capital Management, a value-oriented hedge fund focused on special situations, and UNC Management Company, the endowment office for UNC Chapel Hill and affiliated institutions, where he supported investments across public and private markets including private equity, private credit, real estate, hedge funds, and fixed income.
Chung’s board and advisory experience spans organizations across the environmental, social, and governance (ESG) spectrum, including AARP, Corporate Esports Association, Sitestar (OTCPK: SYTE), Symmetric Capital, and renewable energy initiatives supporting large-scale solar, wind, and battery storage development across multiple regions. His committee experience includes investment, audit, compensation, and risk governance across both public and private organizations. His experience also includes digital infrastructure and emerging technologies, including early-stage blockchain and fintech initiatives.
A trilingual communicator (English, Mandarin, and Cantonese), Chung has built trusted relationships with governments, corporates, and institutional investors—including pensions, endowments, sovereign wealth funds, family offices, and fund managers—across more than 30 countries. He is frequently sought for his perspectives on investment strategy, governance, risk management, and impact measurement.
Chung is a Beta Gamma Sigma, Magna Cum Laude graduate of George Washington University, where he received a BBA in Finance and International Business on a full scholarship. He is also a PLD graduate of Harvard Business School where he was awarded multiple fellowships.
