Steve Most serves as the Human Resources Manager at TEDCO, where he partners with leadership to cultivate a healthy workplace culture through strategic talent management.
Steve brings more than 25 years of leadership experience spanning talent management, organizational development, international development, and nonprofit leadership. His professional journey has taken him through humanitarian and post-conflict environments across multiple countries in Africa and the Balkans while serving with nonprofits, international organizations, and a think tank.
Those experiences shaped more than his career. They gave him a deep appreciation for the resilience of people, the richness of diverse cultures, and the importance of healthy organizations. Steve believes that organizations are at their best when people are valued, encouraged, and equipped to become more fully who they were created to be. Throughout his career, he has been drawn to work that helps people flourish, strengthens organizations, and builds workplaces where individuals and teams can thrive.
A Certified International Coach through the International Coaching Community (ICC) and trained mediator, he has coached entrepreneurs, aspiring business owners, nonprofit executives, and business leaders, helping them launch and grow organizations, clarify vision, navigate change, and maximize individual and organizational effectiveness. Steve holds graduate and undergraduate degrees in international trade, finance, and business administration and has completed advanced training in organizational development, mediation, and fostering inclusive workplaces for cultural agility. He has also published in the Journal of Applied Economics, reflecting his longstanding interest in the intersection of economics, development, investment, and real-world impact.
Outside of TEDCO, Steve volunteers as a mediator with Community Mediation Maryland and enjoys investing in people through mentoring, leading small groups, and spiritual companionship. He especially treasures spending time with his family.
