Rajaniece Thompson

Rajaniece Thompson serves as TEDCO's Assistant Director & Grant Manager, working closely with the Chief Development & Marketing Officer to support TEDCO's fundraising initiatives.

Rajaniece is a grants and development professional with over six years of experience in grant management, fundraising strategy, and donor engagement. She has built her career working with nonprofit and mission-driven organizations that place community health and economic growth at the center of their work.

In 2023, Rajaniece founded and operated a consulting firm, where she provided expert grant writing and fundraising support to nonprofit clients nationwide. Through tailored proposals and strategic donor engagement, she successfully helped secure over $2.5 million in funding.

Prior to joining TEDCO, she served as a Grants and Data Consultant for Clay Pots of Baltimore and as a Program Manager for a quasi-government agency in Baltimore City, where she led implementation and fundraising efforts for community-based initiatives. Across these roles, she has supported programs focused on improving community outcomes, expanding access to resources, and advancing workforce and economic development.

She has expertise in end-to-end grant management, including compliance, reporting, and funder relations. Rajaniece is skilled in cultivating community engagement, strengthening stakeholder relationships, and leveraging marketing strategies to increase visibility and support for organizational growth. She also has strong analytical and project management capabilities, enabling effective program execution and measurable fundraising outcomes.

She holds a Master of Public Health from the University of Maryland School of Medicine and a Bachelor of Science from Central Michigan University.
