Thomas received Impact Award recognition at the 30th anniversary of the conference
COLUMBIA, Md., (November 3, 2025) — TEDCO, Maryland’s economic engine for technology companies, announces the recognition of Tammi Thomas, TEDCO’s chief development & marketing officer, as an Impact Award recipient at the recent Women of Color STEM Conference.
“Working with Tammi is an absolute pleasure – her leadership and continual positivity are the beacons of hope that contributes to supporting our ecosystem,” said TEDCO CEO, Troy LeMaile-Stovall. “I am excited to say that, thanks to her dedication, TEDCO has seen constant growth – including the recent finale of the Entrepreneur Expo. Through her leadership, we proudly hosted an event that welcomed more than 1,100 attendees, featured more than 100 speakers, provided space for more than 90 exhibitors and even welcomed several foreign attendees.”
This year marked the 30th anniversary of the conference, sparking the theme “Waves of Change, Oceans of Opportunity” in reflection on three decades of advancement, advocacy and achievements, embracing the transformative power of innovation and workplace development. For 2025, the conference focused on recognizing those who are redefining what leadership looks like in the STEM fields. Thomas was recognized in Baltimore on October 25, 2025, during the final day of the conference.

During the event, Thomas was interviewed by Marsha Reeves Jews, founder and CEO of Martha Jews & Company and former president of WOC.
