New RFP asks for proposals to be submitted by June 30, 2025

COLUMBIA, Md., (June 6, 2025) — TEDCO, Maryland’s economic engine for technology companies, announced the publication of a Request for Proposals (RFP) for the enhancement of the Business Resource Information, Development and Guidance Ecosystem (BRIDGE) program through the creation of the ‘Back Office-In-A-Box’ initiative. Through this initiative, qualifying businesses will have access to resources and expertise needed to obtain loans, grants, investments and contracts that will strengthen the Mid-Atlantic region.
“As a program that spans across Maryland, Delaware, Virginia and Washington, D.C., this collaborative effort brought forth through BRIDGE exemplifies TEDCO’s commitment to supporting entrepreneurs across the region,” said Troy LeMaile-Stovall, TEDCO CEO.
The program aims to create a pool of resources to ensure businesses are set up for success and can maintain financial records, bookkeeping, payroll management and tax compliance as required. Selected contractors will be responsible for delivering services that help qualified businesses with maintaining accurate records, managing payroll, complying with tax and payroll regulations and preparing for external capital opportunities.
“We are excited to launch the Back Office-In-A-Box initiative to offer comprehensive technical assistance to eligible companies,” said Kim Mozingo, vice president of Federal Programs at TEDCO. “Through this opportunity, we are hopeful we can not only support company growth but also encourage regional collaboration.”
Interested applicants should respond to the RFP published here. The goal of this RFP is to receive proposals from potential firms, evaluate those submittals and select the ones best suited to provide the requested services listed throughout the RFP. The last date to submit written questions is Friday, June 13, 2025, and all applicants must submit a complete proposal by 5:00 p.m., Monday, June 30, 2025. TEDCO will contact the selected company by Monday, July 7, 2025.
