The three vendors will deliver financial consultations for businesses in the program

COLUMBIA, Md., (January 14, 2026) — TEDCO, Maryland’s economic engine for technology companies, announced the selection of three vendors for the recent Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFI) Technical Assistance program Request for Proposals (RFP) to enhance the Business Resource Information, Development, and Guidance Ecosystem (BRIDGE) program.

Established under BRIDGE, the CDFI initiative was established to ensure Socially and Economically Disadvantaged Individual (SEDI)-owned businesses and very small businesses (VSBs) have the resources and expertise to obtain capital in the form of loans, grants, investments and contracts to strengthen the Mid-Atlantic region.

“Through these companies, we are looking forward to enhancing support across the Maryland, District of Columbia, Delaware and Virginia region,” said Kim Mozingo, vice president of Federal Programs at TEDCO.

The three firms chosen include:

  • FSC First (Prince George’s Financial Services Corporation dba FSC First)
  • EatsPlace (Baba’s Cooking School LLC dba EatsPlace)
  • Latino Economic Development Corporation of Washington DC

“We are excited to get started offering another avenue for qualifying businesses to receive education, tools and advice from subject matter experts,” said April Davis-Hurtt, lead BRIDGE advisor, TEDCO. “Through tailored experiences and one-on-one consultations, we are hopeful that these three vendors will make a difference.”

As selected vendors, the entities will be responsible for delivering financial consultations tailored to the unique circumstances of each business. These consultations will include an assessment of current financial conditions and the identification of any barriers to loan readiness. Afterwards, CDFIs will offer qualifying businesses assistance in correcting inaccuracies, interpreting credit reports and developing individualized plans to improve current standing.

“The state of Maryland is well-equipped to support innovative technology and life sciences entrepreneurs,” said TEDCO CEO Troy LeMaile-Stovall. “With programs and organizations like TEDCO, founders will find an abundance of opportunities across the state to grow and enhance their business.”
